Had a good meeting with the city inspectors and the Code Lady and one fellow . They are going to help work all of it out. I will get ahold of Mark Baker (good friend of mine) and a Architech Engineer to have him look at the cracks in the stucco of building and see how to correct the inferior job that Victor Chavez did when he covered and wrapped that adobe building and made a very mess of the building on some corners and around the windows. I watched and noted in my mind as I saw the job going together. He didn't get a permit so that adds more trouble . I told the city all that each of those jobs now and let the city deal with them.
This blog is pretty interesting and I will add things like a diary does I guess?? I can refer to this thing from time to time and I will eventually get it sea worthy. This is 29 December 2008.

wow, what a mess. It will all work out. It will probably be better and all this will add to the value of the property. It already looks better from the street with the gravel.
ReplyDeleteWhere's another blog? I've seen the adobe... what else is going on?
ReplyDeleteDear Mr. Colvard, I saw your link on your family's site and thought I'd say "hello" Just wanted to give you a note that Steve Stewart, I think.... is retiring and a new planning assignment has now been given to the fire department. Steve (my Steve)doesn't quite know the details-I guess he's staying in the Community Emergency Response Team assignment. But there new slogan of the city is to help to facilitate a happy end to each and every project and not make citizens jump through so many hoops. BTW, I love the adobes. Take care.
